How does WorkSafe handle WCB-reportable incidents?

The reportable flag triggers configurable email alerts, a WorkSkedge task on the safety manager, and a visible reportable badge on the incident until the claim is closed. Per-company routing sends the right event to the right people automatically.

Can the assignee close their own corrective action after an incident?

No. Final closure of corrective actions is restricted to admins, safety managers, or the project lead by design — the assignee can't self-close. Fail-severity CAs with photo-evidence requirements also can't close without an uploaded image.

Where does the incident history live for audit?

In the Incident Log report, filterable by type, severity, WCB flag, project, and date range. Every corrective action, evidence photo, and closure signature is preserved for COR / SECOR audit lookback.
