Yes. Project-required certifications are validated at QR sign-in. Expired or missing certs either warn the site lead or hard-block the worker — it's a per-project setting. The lead is notified in real time.

Does WorkSafe track subcontractor certifications too?

Yes. Vendor employee rosters carry the same certification tracking as your direct roster — expiry alerts, sign-in enforcement, and inclusion in the certification matrix report.

How do I get the certification matrix report auditors ask for?

Every employee cert has an expiry date. Warnings surface at 60, 30, and 7 days before expiry in Admin → Certification Expiry, so the weekly cert-review meeting writes itself. Overdue certs also alert the safety manager in real time when a worker with a required-but-expired cert scans in.
