What is compromise detection?

If a locked asset's status changes outside WorkSafe (for example, someone updates it in WorkSkedge), the LOTO permit flags as compromised — you're forced to investigate before restarting work.

Who can release someone else's lock?

Only supervisors with the configurable override role. Every override is logged with the applying and releasing user for the audit trail.

Does dispatch see when a machine is locked out?

Yes. The asset shows LOTO Active as a badge on the WorkSkedge asset page, so dispatchers can't accidentally send a locked machine to another job.
