At T+0 the worker gets email and SMS. At T+5 minutes an automated voice call rings the worker. At T+10 the manager is notified by email and SMS. At T+20 the manager gets an automated voice call. Every step is timestamped and exportable.

What happens if the worker's phone is dead or has no signal?

The countdown timer lives on our servers, not the worker's phone. If the phone dies, reboots, or the app is closed, the next check-in is still expected on time and escalation proceeds automatically. Offline 'I'm OK' check-ins sync as soon as signal returns.

How does someone acknowledge a lone worker alert?

The worker taps 'I'm OK' in the app, or anyone on the call presses 1 during the automated voice call. Either action closes the alert instantly across every channel — no app login required for the voice acknowledgment.

Is this compliant for COR / SECOR lone worker requirements?

Yes. Every send, delivery status, acknowledgment, and escalation step is captured in an immutable audit log and exportable for COR, SECOR, and provincial lone-worker regulation reviews.
