WorkSafe vs Corfix, side by side.
The gaps Corfix can't close.
Safety lives where the work does
WorkSafe is installed into WorkSkedge — the same roster, projects, equipment, and tasks you already dispatch against. Corfix syncs with your ERP; WorkSafe doesn't need to sync because it's the same system.
Nested permits, not attached documents
Tick 'confined space' on an FLHA and a full permit workflow opens inside it — atmospheric readings, entrant log, attendant, rescue plan. In Corfix, permits are separate forms your crew has to remember to fill out.
Certification enforcement at sign-in
Expired ticket? The worker is blocked at QR sign-in the next morning, and the manager is notified. Not a report to run — an enforcement gate at the site entrance.
Corrective actions become real work
Every CAR pushes to the WorkSkedge task inbox with a deep link, assignee, and due date. Ops managers see it alongside their other tasks, not buried in a safety-only dashboard.
Consultant workflows built in
External safety consultants push templates and packets straight into your library, with adoption tracking. No email attachments, no version drift, no separate consultant tool.
One login, one bill, one vendor
Ops and safety in one platform, one contract, one support team. No Corfix + separate scheduling tool + separate consultant portal to reconcile.
We won't pretend otherwise.
Deep, mature Canadian install base
Corfix has 265K+ workers and 3.5M+ forms across Canadian construction. If your consultants and internal safety team already know Corfix inside-out, that familiarity is real value.
Established ERP connectors
If you're standardized on Sage, Jonas, or Foundation and don't want to move scheduling and dispatch to WorkSkedge, Corfix's ERP integrations may be a better fit than adopting a new ops platform.
Common questions.
- How is WorkSafe different from Corfix?
- Corfix is a strong stand-alone safety app that integrates with your ERP. WorkSafe is a safety module inside a full ops platform (WorkSkedge). The difference shows up in nested permits, cert-enforced sign-in, corrective actions that become real tasks, and a consultant partner portal — capabilities that only make sense when safety and operations share the same data model.
- We already use Corfix. Can we migrate?
- Yes. During onboarding we work with you to rebuild your FLHAs as WorkSafe templates, seed your hazard and control catalogs, set up certification types, connect your roster through WorkSkedge, and bring your consultants into the partner portal. There's no automated import — but most of a Corfix setup translates cleanly, and we do the heavy lifting alongside you.
- Do we need WorkSkedge?
- Yes — WorkSafe installs into WorkSkedge, and that's the point. If you're happy running scheduling and dispatch in your ERP and just want a stand-alone safety app, Corfix is a fair call. If you want ops and safety in one system, WorkSkedge + WorkSafe is the reason to switch.
- Is WorkSafe as audit-ready as Corfix for COR / SECOR?
- Yes. The FLHA log, incident log, corrective-action tracker, cert matrix, toolbox attendance, and site-inspection compliance reports are built to what COR and SECOR auditors ask for — with the added benefit that corrective actions and cert enforcement are tied directly to real ops data.
